Sometimes, when we interact with spirit, something special happens. It’s rare and I’ve only experienced it a few times. We meet and speak and interact with someone, and we don’t realise that they’re in spirit until after the encounter. This is what I call a reciprocal interaction. That is, we are aware of spirit and the are equally aware of us as if they’re still here on the physical plane. My most recent encounter of this nature was on a train. As we pulled into the station only myself and a woman were present in the carriage. She asked if I’d help her off the train. I steadied her arm, and she felt real to the touch. Once we had stepped onto the platform, she said thanks and turned away from me and then she was gone. I realised, at that moment that she was in spirit.
